Medical Wellness Center
Youth Services System, Inc. (YSS) is a nonprofit organization that supports children, teens, and young adults up to age 24 who face challenges like addiction, abuse, trauma, and mental health struggles. Since 1974, YSS has offered emergency shelters, recovery housing, therapy, supervised visitation, and transitional living programs. Each service is designed to help youth and families build a safe, stable foundation and move forward with hope.
The center uses evidence-based therapies such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing, and functional family therapy. Therapy is available at home, in school, and in outpatient settings. Peer recovery specialists offer support based on their own lived experiences. YSS also provides parenting programs and life skills training to help families heal and grow together, focusing on long-term success and emotional well-being.
Teens and young adults live in home-like settings that promote safety, comfort, and healing. Gender-specific recovery homes offer shared spaces and daily routines in a sober, supportive environment. The Transitional Living Program includes supervised housing with education, job support, transportation, and skill-building activities. With caring staff, structured programs, and strong community support, YSS gives youth a place to belong and the tools to thrive.
