Whispering Oaks Lodge is a southern oasis that spans over 18 acres nestled among beautiful oak trees and a 3 acre fishing pond stocked with bass, bream, catfish, and white perch. Whispering Oaks Lodge is a rehabilitation home that has detoxification, residential treatment, intensive outpatient, and an aftercare program. They provide rehabilitation for men and women suffering from drug and alcohol addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders.Whispering Oaks Lodge favors a biopsychosocial and holistic approach to healing. There are four parts to the biopsychosocial approach: biological, behavioral, psychological, and environmental. They have access to nurses and doctors around-the-clock. It is claimed that using both strategies together results in long-term recovery. Equine therapy and canine assisted therapy are available at Whispering Oaks Lodge. A typical stay is 45 days. and clients can do self-pay or they accept private insurances.

Whispering Oaks Lodge is a comfortable and private rehabilitation home that allows their clients to have access to their cell phones, personal laptops, and tablets. Clients have the option of a shared or private accommodations, catered Cajun cuisine, and high speed internet access. Whispering Oaks Lodge prides itself on its southern hospitality and their Louisiana authentic cajun cuisine. A private gym membership is included for all clients in the residential treatment program.
