Waterville Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides best-in-class services for the treatment of opioid use disorder and accepts adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to prescription painkillers, heroin, and other opioids. We use medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help our patients find healing and fulfillment through a life lived in long-term recovery. MAT combines the use of counseling and prescription medication to help patients overcome the physical and mental challenges of opioid addiction. Medication can help alleviate the uncomfortable symptoms of withdrawal, but the use of medication alone is not enough to help patients wholly recover. To address the emotional, behavioral, and social aspects of addiction, patients can participate in individual and group therapy sessions. By exploring the underlying causes of substance misuse with the help of our counselors, patients can identify ways to correct past behaviors to prevent future relapse.
