Vermilion Behavioral Health Systems is a leading adult inpatient treatment center located in Lafayette, Louisiana, and serving patients around the state. We can treat a wide range of mental health disorders, including bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, and co-occurring addictions to substances such as alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine, and synthetic marijuana. We provide comprehensive inpatient mental health treatment for adults age 18 and older, with specialized services for psychiatric and addiction care as well as a detoxification program for adults who need medical support to safely withdraw from any substances they may be using. Adults in our inpatient treatment program typically stay for seven to 10 days depending on their unique needs. While in inpatient care, patients may receive treatments such as individual, family, group, and experiential therapies.
