Medical Wellness Center
Toiyabe Indian Health Project serves Native American tribe members in Bishop, California who are seeking treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. They provide outpatient services including a 90-day outpatient treatment program, a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program, and a specialized contingency management program focused on treating methamphetamine use. The outpatient and MAT programs include individual and group counseling services, as well as access to psychiatry and case management services. Clients participating in the contingency management for methamphetamine use program receive positive reinforcement and incentives to help clients build a life without substance use.
