The Jude House, Inc.

Jude House’s countryside estate provides individualized, comprehensive substance use treatment to adults, including adults with justice-involved backgrounds. The campus includes a meditation area under two oak trees. The oak trees even appear in Jude House’s logo.

Clients

Jude House primarily serves male clients 18 to 65, but they have a separate space for women with 5 spots. Many clients come to Jude House from the Maryland 8507 criminal justice program, and the staff have experience working with clients to process trauma and identify a path to recovery after prolonged incarceration.

Jude House takes an individualized approach, considering each client’s physical, emotional, and psychological needs in their recovery process.

Treatment Programs

Jude House’s residential program offers a structured environment where clients reside on-site, engaging in intensive therapy sessions, educational workshops, and skill-building activities designed to promote long-term sobriety.

Jude House’s standard and intensive outpatient programs serve individuals who prefer flexibility. Clients can participate in therapy and counseling sessions while maintaining their daily responsibilities, such as work or family commitments. They can even facilitate their outpatient therapy virtually.

Professional and Community Reentry

A standout feature of Jude House is its support for individuals reentering the workforce after incarceration. Their programs provide job training and help with parole and probation interviews.

Jude House also helps restore family networks. They do family interventions and provide parenting classes.

Jude House also hosts events for the community, such as their comedy nights.

Aftercare

For male clients, Jude House offers a sober living aftercare location. They’re working on an aftercare location for female clients.
