Medical Wellness Center
Located in southern Miami, The Agape Network is a Christian community center individuals and families with several services to restore their health and well-being. Their campus includes a serenity garden, space for creating art and music, dancing space, cooking space, and horses.
The Agape Networks help adults and adolescents recover from substance use, mental health, other illnesses, and criminal justice with holistic, individualized, and trauma-informed care with a spiritual emphasis. Their continuum of care includes outpatient treatments, day treatments, residential stays, sober living, and in-home care for anger, anxiety, depression, alcohol addiction, chronic relapse, co-occurring disorders. Their therapies for individuals, families, and couples are 1-on-1 counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, equine therapy, life skills training, motivational interviewing, medication-assisted treatments, music therapy, relapse prevention counseling, and 12-Step Facilitation.
The Agape Network’s community health center has federal accreditation and provides personal care with testing, integrated billing, charting, and the ability to exchange data with other healthcare organizations.
The Agape Network specializes in helping women with substance use and mental health conditions who have traumatic experiences with sex trafficking and prison. Their programs like Mommy & Me help expecting and current mothers build a healthy future for their children and maintain custody. Their housing programs, Sunflower and Vision, provide temporary and permanent stays with services to help clients become self-sufficient. The Agape Network is a service provider for the Florida Department of Children and Families.
The Agape Network visits local schools to discourage students from using drugs, and their Teen Ambassador Program raises awareness of trafficking.
The Agape Network offers employment to alumni, creating opportunities and ensuring that staff emphasize with clients.
