Pyramid Waynesboro Outpatient Treatment Center offers treatment for adults and teens with substance use and mental health concerns. Pyramid Healthcare seeks to make treatment affordable, accepting most private insurance and Medicaid, as well as accepting medical assistance and county funding. Pyramid offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP), meeting 3-4 hours per day, traditional outpatient treatment, and walk-in drug and alcohol assessments Mondays from 9 AM – 2 PM and Wednesdays from 11 AM – 3 PM, as well as mental health assessments Mondays from 9 AM – 2 PM, helping place clients in the appropriate level of care.
Pyramid Waynesboro Outpatient Treatment Center offers individual therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as peer support from others who have gone through addiction. Clients engage in group therapy specific to their conditions, learning coping and relapse-prevention strategies, sharing their experience with others and learning from others in similar circumstances. Pyramid Waynesboro offers specialized groups for first-time offenders and adolescents, as well as specialized care for chronic opioid relapse. Clients and their loved ones participate in family or couples counseling with the aim of increasing understanding and communication.
Collaborating with patients, psychiatrists prescribe and manage medications for co-occurring mental health conditions. Pyramid offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults only implementing Suboxone, Revia, Vivitrol, and Sublocade to help clients with opiate and alcohol cravings.
Located less than 4 miles from the Maryland border, Pyramid Waynesboro Outpatient Treatment Center provides access to residents throughout the Shenandoah Valley region. Clients enjoy convenient access to Highway 16, Highway 316, and I-81, with parking available at the building.
