Medical Wellness Center
HealthRIGHT360 operates over 50 programs in 11 California counties, providing comprehensive treatment services for a diverse range of individuals and families struggling with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring disorders. Their Prototypes Outpatient Behavioral Health center, named for being the “prototype” other treatment providers follow, focuses on creating healthier families and communities.
Substance misuse treatment at Prototypes provides comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for adults aged 18 and older. They offer traditional outpatient services in addition to an intensive outpatient program (IOP), blending 1-on-1, group, and family therapies in a safe and supportive environment, with a specialized treatment track for pregnant women. They offer a holistic approach with proven therapeutic methods, with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) available for individuals with physical dependencies to alcohol or opioids. Some of their services for addiction and co-occurring mental health include relapse prevention, 12-Step facilitation, and trauma-informed care
Prototypes offers outpatient care for men, women, and children with primary mental health conditions. Their services range from prevention or early intervention services to intensive services for those experiencing serious or chronic conditions. Along with individual, group, or family therapy sessions, clients receive psychiatric care, medication management, case management, care coordination with primary healthcare providers, and referrals when needed.
Mental health services are also available on an outpatient basis for children from the age of birth to up to 20 years old, designed to strengthen families and foster a healthy, substance-free lifestyle. They offer parenting education and therapeutic services designed to prevent child abuse and maltreatment. Prototypes specializes in families who have open cases with child welfare agencies, or for families with adults in the criminal or family court systems.
Prototypes Outpatient Behavioral Health is a non-profit organization that accepts low-income clients and families with state medicaid insurance. They are a CARF accredited program, specializing in individuals experiencing homelessness, who are on parole, women with children, youth, and young adults since 1967.
