Peaks understands that an alcohol and drug addiction and most underlying causes of the addiction manifest themselves differently for men and women, including different age demographics. This is why we value a gender-specific, evidence-based treatment approach empirically shown to be effective in the treatment of addiction and dual diagnosis. In fact, we are among a very small handful of holistic recovery centers here in the state of Colorado that truly offers gender separate treatment. Dual Diagnosis is not just a tag word in our literature either, we treat both Mental Health Primary and Substance Use Primary Disorders.
