Parkdale Center focuses on the treatment of “Professionals.” Our treatment program is designed to be most helpful for adults in careers with substantial stressors and responsibilities. Our patients are often highly-motivated, well-educated, successful, and career-driven. These professionals may inadvertently place their licenses, certifications, or positions in their company at risk because of their substance use. In some cases, they may also face legal action if caught using substances on the job, diverting medications from work, or in some cases, working while impaired. In a worst-case scenario, they may ultimately put others at risk because of their unmanaged or undiagnosed SUD. We offer a supportive, judgment-free environment where our patients can begin to recover from their substance use disorder, but they will receive unparalleled ongoing support and assistance with legal, licensing, professional, and regulatory issues that may arise as a result of their SUD.
