Oceans Behavioral Hospital Tupelo addresses anger, anxiety, bipolar, depression, grief, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, self-harm, stress, trauma, alcohol and drug addiction, personality disorders, and co-occurring disorders. Their treatment methods include 1-on-1 counseling, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), group therapy, medication management, relapse prevention counseling, relaxation therapy, and 12-Step Facilitation. Their psychiatric staff review progress and medications daily.
For older adults 55+, Oceans Behavioral Hospital Tupelo offers group sessions Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. that address aging-related mental health complications like Alzheimer’s and dementia.
For adolescents 12 to 17, Oceans Behavioral Hospital Tupelo offers sessions Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. so clients participating in the intensive outpatient treatment can still attend school. Their group sessions address common concerns for adolescents, such as self-harm.

Many specialize in aging-related or military-related mental health conditions, and an increasing number treat mental health for adolescents.
