Located on the grounds of Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center (MVPC) near Utica University, McPike Addiction Treatment Center offers residential treatment for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns in upstate New York. As part of the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), McPike seeks to ensure accessible care, with no one turned away for inability to pay.
A multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, addiction counselors, nurses, and recreation therapists delivers holistic treatment. Services include medication management, individual and group therapy, relapse prevention counseling, and physical wellness activities. McPike Addiction Treatment Center offers a specialized programs for women which includes peer discussion and education access. Clients typically stay at the 68-bed facility for 28-90 days.
