Medical Wellness Center
Located in the Ferry Village neighborhood of South Portland, Maine Recovery Collective offers treatment for women with substance use concerns in a comfortable, home-like setting. Maine Recovery Collective women’s center is a 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop and a 6 minute drive from Portland. Staff also assists with transportation when necessary. Located blocks from the coast, clients enjoy walks on the shore and beach outings. Maine Recovery Collective seeks to make treatment accessible and accepts Mainecare (Medicaid).
Clients engage in 12-Step programming, psychoeducation, and group and individual therapy led by experienced clinicians with lived experience. Maine Recovery Collective offers a holistic approach, offering yoga, meditation, contemplation, and hiking. Additionally, women participate in the community through volunteering and work with staff to obtain employment and education opportunities.
