Men may come through treatment referrals, the Illinois Department of Corrections, or the local community. Residents start in shared rooms and may move to smaller ones. LifeHouse also provides food, clothing, and personal care items, ensuring no one is turned away.

The program offers over 80 hours of weekly activities that support both mental and physical health. This includes support groups, therapy, fitness classes, and creative outlets like art and music. Residents also get personalized case management to set goals, build life skills, find employment, and address mental health or substance use challenges.

LifeHouse helps men prepare for a brighter future with job training in fields like construction, culinary arts, and manufacturing. They provide support for earning a GED, accessing higher education, building financial literacy, and earning counseling certifications. LifeHouse hosts hiring fairs, connecting residents with employers like Amazon, UPS, and Mariano’s. Weekly guest speakers share motivational recovery insights, helping residents stay focused and inspired on their journey to a better life.
