At Life Center of Galax, we provide a premier partial hospitalization program (PHP) for people who are in need of structured care for behavioral health concerns that have impacted their ability to function in their daily lives. In our PHP, we deliver evidence-based, life-changing treatment for those who are struggling with substance use disorders and certain co-occurring concerns. This addiction treatment program can be beneficial for adults age 18 and older who do not require 24-hour supervision or live-in care to achieve their goals. Our PHP typically takes an average of 10-21 days to complete, but each patient’s actual length of programming depends on their needs. Adults may enter this program directly or as a step-down to a less restrictive level of care from an inpatient or residential setting. In some cases, a person may step up to our PHP when traditional outpatient services cannot provide them with the support they need.
