Medical Wellness Center
Lake Area Recovery Center (LARC) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to providing addiction recovery services to residents of Ashtabula County, Ohio. The center is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) and accredited by CARF®.
LARC offers a comprehensive range of services, including outpatient addiction recovery programs, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), residential treatment centers, recovery housing, specialty court treatment programs, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and a driver intervention program. Their programs are designed to help individuals overcome substance use disorders through evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational enhancement therapy, and relapse prevention strategies.
Committed to accessibility, LARC operates on a sliding fee scale based on monthly income and accepts various third-party reimbursements, including insurance and Medicaid.
