About Hillcrest
Hillcrest serves the Indianapolis youth population by providing a range of services at an accessible price point for those in need of substance use disorder treatment or behavioral services. Hillcrest operates a short-term, 4-5 day emergency shelter for those who are in immediate need of shelter or are unable to return home. They provide them with basic necessities so that they can feel safe and secure. They also offer residential care for court-ordered youth who are displaying signs of substance use disorders.
Substance Use Disorder Outpatient Program and More
The outpatient program for substance use disorders is intended to educate young people on the disease of addiction, generational predispositions to addiction, identify cravings, resolve cravings and learn life skills to live a sober life. This program consists of two phases: 8 psychoeducational sessions and 4 follow up counseling sessions. In addition to their substance use programs, they also offer programs for youth who are involved in theft or are showing signs of aggression. In addition, they also offer programs for expecting mothers and mothers of newborns to assist in child development education.
