HealthPartners Programs for Change Hudson

Located in the St. Croix Valley community for over thirty years, Programs for Change supports addiction recovery through personalized treatment plans and holistic methods. Each patient starts with an initial assessment from a primary care doctor that evaluates mental health, chemical use history, and previous life events. Once the initial assessment has been completed, the outpatient treatment program begins. Patients should expect to meet multiple times per week where a mix of group sessions, family therapy, and lecture series is provided. The lecture topics range from relapse prevention, 12-steps, spirituality, family systems, and education on the disease itself. Ongoing care is offered through community support groups. Programs for Change is operated by the Hudson Hospital & Clinic which is a part of the HealthPartners health care system. At this location, mental health services for anxiety, depression, and eating disorders are also offered. There are two other locations in Amery, Wisconsin and New Richmond, Wisconsin.

Incorporating Family Therapy

Additionally, the outpatient program features two multi-family group sessions, where individuals and their family members collaborate on their recovery journey. These sessions provide a platform for exploring recovery dynamics as a collective unit, fostering understanding, support, and growth.
