Located near the intersection of Main Street and Plank Road, with convenient access to clients throughout DeKalb County, Greater Family Health Sycamore offers virtual and in-person therapy, psychiatry, medication assisted treatment (MAT), and peer support for a broad range of mental health and substance use conditions, as well as primary care. Greater Family Health accepts Medicaid, Medicare, most private insurance, and offers a Sliding Fee Discount Program for uninsured and underinsured clients. No one will be turned away based on inability to pay.
A master’s level therapist provides counseling services at Greater Family Health Sycamore, taking an eclectic approach and integrating various therapy modalities. Clients can receive services for a range of mental health conditions, with this location specializing in anxiety and depression.
A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner works with clients to evaluate psychiatric needs, manage and monitor medication, and help ensure that clients are educated about their medications. Clients can also receive other treatment options and resources from this psychiatric provider.
Greater Family Health integrates medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using Suboxone or Vivitrol with individual counseling and medication management as part of a holistic approach to treating opioid use.
