EDCare Omaha is a welcoming and gender-inclusive center specializing in treating eating disorders in adults. Their clinical campus is located in downtown Omaha on the Missouri River close to the Iowa border. EDCare Omaha promotes experiential therapies, total mind-body recovery, and helps clients connect with their authentic selves. Some of EDCare Omaha’s therapies include DBT, ACT, a nutrition group, and multifamily and process groups. Their experiential therapies include yoga, movement and psychodrama, art therapy, and cooking classes. They treat a range of eating disorders including bulimia, binge eating, or other specified feeding or eating disorders (OSEFED). EDCare Omaha also has specialized tracks for binge eating and addressing issues regarding sports performance.
EDCare Omaha values diversity, equity, and inclusion and recognizes the disparity in the care given to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+ communities, as well as people in larger bodies. They aim to provide competent and high standards of care to reflect the diversity of their patient population.
EDCare Omaha offers an evening intensive outpatient (EIOP) with a specialized binge eating track and a track for athletes. Their clinical office features bright and comfortable therapeutic spaces and shared kitchen space. EDCare Omaha accepts a variety of public and private insurances and is Joint Commission accredited.
