EDCare Kansas City is a welcoming and gender-inclusive center specializing in treating eating disorders in adults and adolescents. Their clinical campus and partial hospitalization housing are located in downtown Oakland Park close to the Missouri border. EDCare Kansas City promotes experiential therapies, total mind-body recovery, and helps clients connect with their authentic selves. Some of EDCare Kansas City’s therapies include DBT, ACT, a nutrition group, and multifamily and process groups. Their experiential therapies include yoga, movement and psychodrama, art therapy, and cooking classes. They treat a range of eating disorders including bulimia, binge eating, or other specified feeding or eating disorders (OSEFED). EDCare Kansas City also has specialized tracks for athletes, substance use, binge eating, and trauma within their PHP and IOP programs. They also offer an evening intensive outpatient (EIOP) program for adolescents.

Nearby, EDCare Kansas City’s PHP housing boasts home-like and comfortable spaces with a living room, dining area, and shared bedrooms. The house can accommodate up to 4 clients at a time. EDCare Kansas City accepts a variety of public and private insurances and is Joint Commission accredited.
