Covington Behavioral Health Hospital, located in Covington, Louisiana, offers individualized inpatient treatment for adolescents who have been experiencing symptoms of mental health disorders. We serve young people ages 11-17 who are struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, suicidal thoughts, and other mental health concerns. We also serve adolescents who have developed addictions to alcohol and opioids. The typical length of stay in our adolescent inpatient unit is five to seven days. In that time, we provide a customized array of services that can help each adolescent achieve stabilization, with the goal of preparing them to transition to a lower level of care or return home. To accomplish this, we place great emphasis on providing personalized, family-focused care. We know that when a young person struggles with mental health concerns or addiction, it can negatively impact the entire family.
