Located in San Diego, California, Confidential Recovery is an intensive outpatient program (IOP) treating adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. This Joint Commission accredited center provides an array of evidence-based and holistic therapies in a safe and confidential setting. Their team of professional staff provide therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement therapy (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Additionally, they bring in outside professionals who facilitate sessions of yoga, music therapy, and hypnotherapy. As a 12-Step based program, clients are required to attend at least 3 outside meetings per week with a recovery group of their choice like AA, SMART, or Refuge Recovery.
Veterans Program and Telehealth Option
Confidential Recovery offers support to the veteran community of San Diego. The Veterans program includes evidence-based therapies, family therapy, mindfulness based stress reduction, yoga, group therapy, and treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The program is staffed by a veteran in recovery, providing a lived experience touch to the program. Confidential Recovery partners with TriWest and is recognized as a Veterans Affairs Patient-Centered Community Care (VAPC3) provider. Confidential Recovery also offers an IOP through telehealth, allowing clients to receive treatment with greater flexibility.
