Medical Wellness Center
This non-hospital behavioral health center offers a wide range of valuable programs for people of all ages with varying needs. Compass was started by two psychiatrists who desired to provide effective and comprehensive outpatient treatment in a clinical setting. They offer partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) both virtually and in-person. For those who are not interested in a treatment program, they also offer outpatient psychiatry.
The various programs are split up by age to provide the most effective care. The programs target mood and anxiety, school refusal, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), complex anxiety, screen dependence, mental health and substance use, trauma, college preparedness, mental health, pain and illness. These programs may be best for those who experience depression, bipolar, anxiety, OCD, trauma, dysregulation, substance use or difficulty coping with illness or pain. The PHP is more intensive than the IOP, providing 6 hours per day of clinical work. Both program types include psychiatry, individual, group and family therapy, experiential therapy and additional specialized services that vary from person to person.
