Also known as the Recovery Wellness Center on Cactus, this location offers a fitness center equipped with cardio and weightlifting equipment, as well as group classes in collaboration with The Barbell Saves Project. Expert coaches and physical trainers lead free, community-based fitness classes specifically designed for individuals in recovery from substance use disorders.
At the Cactus Road clinic, CMS offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with FDA-approved medications like Suboxone, Naltrexone, and Methadone to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal symptoms. Alongside MAT, patients receive individual and group counseling, where therapists use evidence-based approaches to help develop healthy coping strategies.
Peer support specialists—individuals with lived experience in recovery—offer guidance and understanding throughout the treatment process. By combining medical care, counseling, physical fitness and peer support, CMS provides a well-rounded approach to opioid recovery.
