Clementine Miami provides tailored treatment for adolescent girls ages 13-17 who struggle with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and exercise addiction. The center utilizes evidence-based therapies, expressive arts, life skills development, and a family program to promote recovery. Evidence-based methods include 1-on-1 therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and life skills training. At the center, clients can practice healthy skills such as journaling, time management, chores, decision making, and handling peer pressure. Additionally, clients’ families can participate in weekly family therapy sessions, a weekly parent education program, family meals, or a multi-family large group.
Clementine Miami provides academic support and reintegration help for its clients in addition to medical and psychiatric care. They provide their clients with a greater understanding of risks associated with co-occurring disorders, such as substance use, mood disorders, and trauma. Clients and their families also receive personalized meal and exercise plans upon discharge.
Clients can enjoy a variety of expressive therapies and activities including game and movie nights, free play, pottery, jewelry making, weekly movement sessions, expressive movement therapy, and dance. Additionally, Clementine facilitates outings such as museum visits or bowling and visits to grocery stores and restaurants. The center boasts bright, colorful interiors with various indoor and outdoor lounge spaces, a lush green campus, shared rooms, and an outdoor pool to enjoy. The center is Joint Commission accredited and works with various public and private insurances.
