About Children’s Resource Center

The Children’s Resource Center in Wood County supports children, adolescents, and young adults facing mental health and substance use challenges. They offer outpatient, day treatment, school-based, and in-home services tailored to each individual’s needs in a safe environment.

Enhance Emotional Coping Skills

Using trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI), the center provides individual and group therapy to help clients regulate emotions, develop coping skills, and reduce risky behaviors. Psychiatric services include ADHD diagnosis, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and case management to promote overall wellness.

Support Success in Community

School-based services deliver therapy on-site, helping students improve social and emotional skills without disrupting class. In-home services provide intensive therapy and case management to build skills, resolve issues, and strengthen families. These programs work together to help children, adolescents, and young adults thrive in all areas of life.
