Turning Winds is a residential treatment program for teens that integrates a non-traditional, therapeutic process that facilitates constructive growth in our students that are struggling with a diverse mix of behavioral challenges. These key program components include academic credit recovery, equine therapy, international service projects, outdoor and recreational therapies, substance abuse education, and trauma informed care. Turning Winds utilizes a unique blend of professionals that melds multiple disciplines to tailor a clinically driven, personalized relationship based treatment approach for teens that enroll; thus, inspiring a path of self-confidence, self-reliance, happiness and success.Our program can accommodate a total enrollment of 42 students with an average length of stay that lasts between 6 to 12 months. However, we extend into longer periods of treatment as deemed clinically appropriate.
