Medical Wellness Center
Newport Academy’s Outpatient location in Kirkland, Washington offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP/day treatment), intensive outpatient program (IOP), and outpatient services for teens 12-18. They also offer family therapy and parent support groups so both youth and parents gain tools for better communication and enhanced family harmony.
Their PHP offers a structured daily schedule with individual and group therapy, experiential modalities, and classroom time focusing on academics and life skills. Youth may participate in yoga, a ropes course, tubing, or create art or music as part of their experiential treatment. The PHP is all-day programming, 5 days a week. Their IOP is 5 afternoons weekly, allowing teens to participate after school. They also offer a virtual IOP as a continuing care option for clients stepping down from residential care, consisting of 1-on-1, group, and family therapy sessions. Outpatient services consist of programming fewer than 5 afternoons weekly.
