Treatment begins with a clinical assessment to guide the appropriate approach. Crossroads Petersburg OTP offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using Methadone dosing under medical supervision. Clients also participate in counseling using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), care coordination, and peer support, available in person or virtually. Hepatitis C treatment is also available at Crossroads. Crossroads also offers office-based opioid treatment (OBOT) nearby, which requires fewer days at the clinic per day.
