These services include medication-assisted treatment (MAT) utilizing FDA-approved medications such as suboxone, naltrexone, and methadone to reduce cravings and alleviate withdrawal symptoms. In addition to MAT, CMS offers both individual and group counseling sessions, where evidence-based practices are employed to help clients develop healthy coping strategies and address substance use issues. Furthermore, peer support specialists with lived experience in recovery are available to provide additional guidance and understanding.
Community Medical Services McKinney is open weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
