Youth Villages – Rose Center for Girls is a residential facility for young girls between the ages of 9-17 who struggle with serious mental health disorders and have a history of trauma. The team specializes in treating self-harming behaviors and suicidal thoughts, psychotic symptoms, substance use disorders, and personality disorders. Their intensive treatment program provides close supervision and structure for an integrated care approach.
The Rose Center for Girls adopts a trauma-informed approach to understand and address the young girls’ experiences with compassion and empathy. Their team uses a variety of treatment methods for a well-rounded approach, including individual and group therapy, family counseling, crisis prevention and intervention, recreation therapy, and art therapy. Their 3:1 staff ratio also ensures that each girl receives the individualized care and attention essential for optimal growth and healing.
The Rose Center for Girls is designed to provide services for at-risk and vulnerable youth. The facility prioritizes education, providing a specialized curriculum for the girls to remain on track if they return to a traditional school. The young girls’ learning is enriched by a modern computer lab and traditional classrooms. Other amenities include a gymnasium, swimming pool, outdoor playground, salon, sand volleyball court, and exercise trail. The facility is dedicated to offering young girls a range of therapeutic activities while also ensuring they have the chance to simply enjoy being kids.
