The Carolina Center

Located in Greer, South Carolina, The Carolina Center caters to adolescents, adults, and senior adults struggling with substance use disorder and acute psychiatric conditions. Their programs include medical detox, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and inpatient care. The length of the program is based on the patients’ needs and average stays usually range between 7-14 days.

Crisis Stabilization

Crisis stabilization is a key component to the program, and The Carolina Center offers round-the-clock care and supervision. Their multi-disciplinary team is focused on the patient’s crisis while at the same time working strengthening the family system. Family and recreational therapy are essential components of the program, and discharge planning aids in a seamless changeover to external follow-up care.

Specialized Programming for Seniors

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is committed to offering senior adults who require mental and/or drug dependency treatment high-quality, compassionate care. Specialized intervention and stabilization treatments are offered to adults over 60 in an organized setting. Geriatric psychiatrists, registered nurses, and health professionals with master’s degrees provide patients with expert, compassionate care in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
