Located in a renovated bank in downtown Catasauqua, Pyramid Lehigh Valley Residential Treatment Center offers treatment for women with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. With natural lighting and both indoor and outdoor lounge space, Pyramid strives to provide a comfortable and peaceful environment for treatment. Women participate in empowerment events, helping them grow in confidence during treatment. Pyramid Lehigh Valley also strives to provide a safe space for LGBTQ women. Pyramid Healthcare seeks to make treatment affordable, accepting most private insurance and Medicaid.
Pyramid Lehigh Valley Residential Treatment Center offers individual therapy, implementing moral reconation therapy, discharge planning, and certified recovery specialist (CRS) services. Clients engage in group therapy, including life skills, parenting, gardening, nutrition, and grief and loss groups. Clients participate in trauma-informed care implementing TREM (trauma recovery empowerment model). Following a non 12-Step model, treatment incorporates SMART Recovery. Family members can participate in family therapy with their loved ones. Pyramid Healthcare offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), helping with opioid and alcohol cravings. Pyramid offers yoga, art therapy, drumming, and creative writing as part of a holistic treatment model.
Women seeking treatment during pregnancy receive specialized care, including transportation to and from appointments. They also engage in case management regarding their pregnancy and Pyramid Lehigh Valley works with them to find housing after treatment as needed.
Located about just north of Allentown along the Lehigh River, Pyramid offers services to residents throughout the Lehigh Valley area. The center is accessible via Highways 145 and 22, with parking available at the building. For clients traveling via public transportation, the 103 bus line stops about a block from the building and provides service throughout the Lehigh Valley.
