Pyramid Hershey Outpatient Treatment Center offers treatment for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. Pyramid Healthcare seeks to make treatment affordable, accepting most private insurance and Medicaid. Clients can participate in an intensive outpatient program (IOP), meeting 3-4 hours per day, traditional outpatient treatment, and DUI assessments, with all programs available either in person or virtually.
Pyramid Hershey Outpatient Treatment Center offers individual therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help combat negative thought patterns and establish healthier ones. Clients engage in specialized group therapy, learning coping and relapse-prevention strategies, sharing their experience with others and learning from others in similar circumstances. Clients and their loved ones participate in family or couples counseling with the aim of increasing understanding and communication, with family support groups also available.
Located in Palmyra across from the middle school, Pyramid Hershey Outpatient Treatment Center provides access to residents in Lebanon and Dauphin counties. Clients enjoy convenient access to Highway 422, connecting Hershey to Lebanon and to Harrisburg after merging with Highway 322, with parking available at the building. For clients traveling via public transportation, Commute King A, Route 8, and Route 16 all stop within two blocks of the building. Pyramid Hershey also offers transportation for clients in the intensive outpatient program (IOP).
