Ohio Addiction Recovery Center

Established in 2015, Ohio Addiction Recovery Center (OARC) offers flexible programs for adults struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. OARC has a full continuum of care options including residential care, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and outpatient services. Programs are available in 30, 60, and 90-day stays, with the option of sober living housing for clients attending outpatient-based therapy. OARC understands there is no one-size-fits-all treatment approach. Their clinical approach utilizes evidence-based and holistic services in a supportive, welcoming environment. They encompass elements outside therapy that address addiction issues such as life skills, employment, support, health, and wellness.

Upon arrival, clients will be paired with a primary therapist and thoroughly assessed. A variety of factors will be considered during this process including the client;s experience with addiction, co-occurring disorders, trauma, and other conditions. Individual plans are designed specific to the individual. Depending on the needs of the client, a combination of group therapy, 1-on-1 coaching and counseling, 12-Step meeting attendance, and education will be used to provide the tools needed for long-term recovery. In addition, OARC offers holistic therapies such as nutrition therapy, spiritual counseling, equine therapy, yoga, and mindful meditation techniques.

Ohio Addiction Recovery Center is conveniently located in Columbus, Ohio. Women and men are housed in separate facilities with primarily shared bedrooms. The homes are well kept and include spacious common areas, cable TV, WiFi, and fully-equipped kitchens. Ohio Addiction Recovery Center provides flexible, community-oriented treatment programs that blend life skills with a variety of evidence-based therapies.
