Medical Wellness Center
The Oliva Center, located in south Louisville, Kentucky, offers residential treatment for men with substance use concerns. The center addresses various addictions, including drug and alcohol dependencies, through a comprehensive program that combines evidence-based treatments, work training, and Christian spiritual guidance. Part of the Isaiah House network, their approach aims to support lasting recovery by nurturing the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of each individual.
Treatment at the Oliva Center includes group therapy, individual counseling, discussion groups, and educational classes, all designed to create a safe and supportive environment for healing. The center also offers medically-supported detox services to help manage withdrawal symptoms. Clients engage in Celebrate Recovery groups, receive spiritual guidance, and participate in church services, fostering a sense of community and purpose throughout their recovery journey.
The Isaiah House’s Four Phases of Recovery provide a structured path to lasting sobriety. Foundation focuses on withdrawal management and clinical support. Restoration includes intensive outpatient care, wellness programs, and job skills training. Acclimation helps clients transition by pursuing education, employment, and sober living. Finally, Transformation supports long-term growth with continued clinical services and career advancement opportunities.
