Located on Acworth Drive near the Park and Ride and I-75, Acworth Outpatient Detox offers withdrawal management for alcohol, opioids, stimulants, and benzodiazepines to individuals in the northwest Atlanta metro area. Accessible via bus lines 102 and 480, the clinic also offers on-site parking. Most commercial insurance plans are accepted.
Treatment begins with a consultation and assessment to determine the optimal approach. Clients undergo daily medical evaluations, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and cravings, and continuous medical monitoring. They participate in counseling sessions utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), relapse prevention strategies, and case management. After 14-21 days of detox, clients receive aftercare support and counseling to help maintain long-term recovery.
