Fresh Start of California helps their patients recover by teaching them life skills, recognizing each small triumph, and by having a caring and supportive team. They use 12-Step therapy, yoga and art therapy 3 times per week, music therapy, process groups, and group therapy as part of their treatment plan.

To meet the needs of their clients, they have a licensed psychiatrist on site, a registered nurse, psychotherapy, and support groups.
