IOP Services provides intensive group therapy to adults. We are a freestanding clinician owned mental health IOP. We do not provide care to individuals whose primary current problem is substance use disorder. There are many other options for their care. IOP provides intensive therapy 3 hours per day, 3 days per week. Group therapy is the foundation of IOP. Group has been well established an an effective treatment approach for 80 years. The interpersonal experience of group is supplemented and enriched with instructional material. psychiatric education and a variety of evidenced based approaches. Most clients continue their regular individual therapy schedule with in IOP. Enrollment is not determined by a diagnosis but rather by how problems are interfering in your life. We offer in person treatment in Chattanooga, TN. We currently offer afternoon groups (1-4pm) on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. The length of time each person is enrolled is individualized, with an average of 12 weeks. Most commercial insurance companies provide coverage for IOP. We will confirm your benefits for you.
