At Acadiana Treatment Center, located in Sunset, Louisiana, a short drive from Lafayette, we provide clinically excellent residential care for young women ages 12-17 who are struggling with mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. We believe that because adolescents are going through developmental changes, they need age-specific services to achieve the most optimal outcomes. In our residential treatment program, we tailor each girl’s care to help them heal. Our team gathers information about each client’s background, symptoms, and therapeutic goals so that we can design a personalized treatment plan for them. We understand that healing is a process, and we want to meet each young woman where they are on their journey. To do this, we spend time getting to know each person we serve, and we listen to each client’s input as we work together. The typical length of stay in our residential program is between three and six months, though the exact duration of care depends on the client’s progress and needs.
