At Temecula Valley Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. MAT is a whole-person approach that can support both the physical and emotional needs of patients. It combines prescription medication and counseling, providing a holistic treatment experience that can help people withdraw from opioids and begin the process of recovery. At our CTC, we offer methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, or naltrexone as part of each patient’s individualized treatment plan. These medications can ease the discomfort of opioid withdrawal and help you achieve the mental clarity you may need to focus on treatment and recovery. To determine the medication that may be most appropriate for you, our staff will assess your health and your past and current drug use. You’ll be able to ask questions and learn about the effects and benefits of each medication. Once you begin MAT, you can make progress during counseling, where you may develop relapse prevention strategies, learn how to improve relationships, and share support with others who are receiving MAT.
