At Scottsdale Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), we offer personalized care for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. Our CTC provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) — an evidence-based approach to treating opioid addiction that is recommended by respected organizations such as the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). Many people are familiar with the basic services of a methadone clinic but may be less aware of the comprehensive care a MAT program can provide. Our MAT program offers methadone, a prescription medication that can help relieve the painful withdrawal symptoms that people may experience when they stop using opioids. We also include individual counseling as a key part of the treatment process. By receiving medication and therapy in MAT, you can improve functioning, focus on the recovery process, and enhance your ability to remain in treatment, among other benefits. Additionally, because we offer MAT as an outpatient service, you can participate in treatment while continuing to engage in daily activities and meet regular commitments.
